Kevin Spacey Rocks House of Cards

Just when you thought Kevin Spacey could impress no more, he made the move to television and got tongues wagging at his incredible performance in the intense political drama House of Cards.

It’s not really such a surprise when you think of the amazing turns he made in cult hits such as The Usual Suspects and Seven. He also proved he has a sense of humour by appearing in the final Austin Powers’ film as himself taking on the role of Dr. Evil.

Segueing so smoothly between drama and comedy is not a feat many actors can achieve, but Spacey does it with panache time and again. He’s no stranger to the stage either, having tackled Shakespeare with the title role in Richard II.

Spacey has become a legend in the film and television industry and, judging by the millions of followers he has on Twitter, is a firm favourite with the viewing public. He even took the time recently to answer fans’ questions about his character from House of Cards, Frank Underwood. Take a look at what the man himself had to say:

When it comes to Hollywood gold, Spacey has bagged a Best Actor Oscar for his role as Lester Burnham in American Beauty; while House of Cards has seen him take home a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

The TV series has also garnered plenty of acclaim, winning Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys galore; and now House of Cards Season 3 is coming to M-Net Edge 102 on 21 April at 20:00. Take a look at the trailer right here and make sure you find out what Frank Underwood gets up to next:
