Zero Waste Challenge #23: Encourage Others

And so we end where we began: encourage others. The challenge I undertook to share covered 31 days, but since I condensed some of the tips, it resulted in fewer days and posts. I hoped to share the tips and tricks in the Earth Hero Zero Waste Challenge by giving examples from my own life; while I’ve done that, I’ve learnt things on the way as well.

The sustainable, eco-friendly journey is a constant one and there’s always something new to learn along the way. It’s also not one that comes to an end (I’m really leaning into the metaphor here!) and it’s also not one-dimensional: there’s so much more to living sustainably and being eco-friendly than zero waste.

For now, I wish to close on this tip (encourage others), by encouraging you to continue reading, researching, and learning. To help you along, I’m leaving a list of books I’ve read and found valuable in learning more about environmental topics that include climate change, extinction, wildlife, and sustainable living.
