Although the theme this month was witches, my viewing choices were all over the place. This was mostly because there wasn’t really anything on my watch lists focused on witches and I was continuing with series started in previous months. What I Read: May 2023
May is not quite done, but I’m off to France tomorrow, with lots of reading time ahead of me. In true meta fashion, I will be reading books set in France, about France, or by French authors. When I return in mid-June, the rest of the month will be devoted to that month’s theme. But for now, here’s what I read this May. Theme: witches.
Thoughts on A Haunting in Venice
The teaser trailer for A Haunting in Venice, the new Hercule Poirot movie based on Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party, is out and I have some thoughts. Of course I do! I’m a Christie fan, after all!
What I Watched: April 2023
With no theme, I thought this month would just involve a lot of Castle bingeing (which it did), but a road trip holiday also meant a lot of movies.
What I Read: April 2023
This month was another mixed bag, mostly because I started April with a holiday and wanted my choices to be as free as my days. Yet I found myself wishing I had themed the month. I’ve come to enjoy the practice and am looking forward to returning to themed reading in May.
